To enter the legendary John Peel studios was to enter a temple of music and experimentation, liberty in ideas and sound.

If you're not from #gaza the ongoing pleas for help may discomfort you: you may feel your empathy is being depleted and turned to exhaustion. Keeping your empathy fresh is hard work in the face of our current reality.

But I can easily assure you that our discomfort is insignificant compared to the horrors continuing to happen in the world every day. If you want to be more comfortable, just help stop the baddies 🤷

Train the mind to connect with others. #Meditating on Dependent Arising helps to see connections. #Metta meditation helps to radiate #compassion for all. Intentionally calling to mind the desire for myself and others to be safe, healthy, and at ease in the world can be challenging enough on its own.

Dealing with the gulf between that intention and our lived reality is a whole other matter, even if I understand that acting with that intention in mind can help over the long-term.
