I still need to poke some probes at the #Goodwill #NES I picked up last weekend. @hkz was taking time out of their busy schedule to coach me through figuring out why it powers on but won't run a game, but I needed to set it aside for the moment because of, well, life.

We got a new (to us) TV! It's a higher end Sony from ~2014 😀. I went to the Goodwill and tried models until I found one I liked. They had a 50% off sale, so I got it for $60!

Goodwill's national office will be visiting my school this morning, the chances of taking pictures is high and the teachers had to rearrange their schedules so they could see them actually teaching. Perfect opportunity to go 100% commie in the pins I'm wearing this morning, all politics today.

Found a huge cookbook for 3.49 in the local Goodwill. I think it has a recipe for every food item you might encounter at a restaurant, from diner to fine dining. Useful tips too. Did you know you should cook your bacon in water before frying? I didn’t.

Had my first decent Goodwill haul this year with an offering plate for Lucifer, plug tower, MagSafe 2 charger, and a Logitech M570 with the dongle!

I also popped up at Value Village (big surprise, right?) and came out with a new cover for my gifted Kindle Oasis, an Amazon Echo Glow, and a dual-wielding monitor arm!

All in all I'm really pleased with my finds, maybe I'll post pictures later.
