One extra thing about the voi ebike hire scheme in #Glasgow and #Edinburgh is that as much as a 70% discount on the voi passes is available for various low income situations incl over 60 NEC card. It's somewhat hidden via having to ask about discounts via chat. #Ebike ##EbikeHire #CycleHire

I'm still trying to decide if the new ebike hire prices are good or not. Considering the new Voi bikes are meant to be operational by 10th Nov in Glasgow things are very quiet so basing prices on their Edinburgh offering.
Payg will be 49p to unlock and 11p a minute with various prepay blocks then £29.99 monthly subscription but that only covers 300 minutes each month . If you have a 30 min commute each day then that's not especially generous imho.
We will see.

Edinburgh's new bike hire scheme starts today, covering the city centre. (This article implies that the bikes can't be used outside that area, which seems bonkers. If I'm mistaken, I'm sure someone will correct me!)
