The #BundleOfHolding has a deal up for #MorkBorg, #CY_BORG, and #PirateBorg - I think it's the full lines for like $25.

Mork Borg and the extended family are extremely _a vibe_ and are well worth checking out just from a visual presentation level, even for folks who don't expect to get them on the table or try to use them as actual game references. Plus, they've got that OSR-y approach of tons of random tables and ideas.

@rodhilton @trantion Practically speaking the best one of these systems I've ever run was #CY_BORG, where you just roll a number of "glitches" you have every morning. Each one lets you do a reroll. They all expire at the end of the day and then you roll more. People used them but not necessarily just all at once at the end of a session.

Wow. #ShadowdarkRPG scheint richtig abgeräumt zu haben. Vier ENNIEs, darunter "Best Game" and "Best Product of the Year".
Durchaus verdient, wie ich finde. Mir hat das Spiel gezeigt, dass Old School Dungeon Crawling auch mir Spaß machen kann (was ich nach meinen allerersten RPG Erfahrungen mit DnD 3.5 nicht mehr so wirklich glaubte).
So ein Regelsystem kann auch "einfach" und leicht zu lernen sein, ohne ein Bücherregal an Zusatzwerken zu benötigen.

Vorgestern habe ich mal wieder #Cthulhu geleitet und nach all dem *Borg und #Shadowdark usw der letzten Zeit fiel mir auf, dass mir selbst dieses ja auch eher leicht zu lernende System inzwischen fast schon zu aufwändig ist. Am Tisch meinte auch schon einer meiner Spieler, dass man ja Cthulhu evtl auch mit so was wie #Mörkborg Regeln spielen könnte.. 😄

Aber ich schweife ab..
Well deserved, Kelsey. Mit Mörkborg und #CY_BORG und weiteren regelleichten Systemen, gehörte auch für mich Shadowdark zu den größten "Aha Erlebnissen" der letzten Zeit. #pnpde

My favourite #TTRPG sessions included an 8 hours run of #Soth and a mini campaign of #cy_borg with my old group. (I know some of these guys for 25 years now!) I also really enjoyed #TrophyDark .

@[email protected] Bei mir war dieses Jahr einiges los, nachdem ich die Jahre davor fast ausschließlich #Cthulhu gespielt habe.

#MörkBorg hat mir durch das überaus spaßige spielen von Abschaum das Interesse an Dungeons gebracht. Ich dachte immer, das sei eher langweilig. M|b ist ein guter #Dungeon Einstieg für solche wie mich, die mehr Spaß am #Rollenspiel als am Leveln haben. Es ist einfach super lustig!

Dann #BrindlewoodBay. Das war so ne Art Eye Opener für mich. Mörk Borg und #CY_Borg hatten es schon angedeutet, dass man als SL auch mit wenig Vorbereitung tolle Spielabende haben kann. BB ist dann noch mal ein bisschen krasser darin, dass es da gar keinen wirklichen Plot mehr gibt und auch die SL nicht weiß, was die Lösung des Abends sein wird. BB hat mir einige der besten Rollenspiel Abende seit langem gebracht. Genauso wie MB animiert das ungemein zu tollen Rollenspiel zwischen den Charakteren und das liebe ich!

Zum Ende des Jahres dann ein weiterer Augen Öffner. #Valland als #OpenTable mit mehreren SL's und einem recht großen Pool an Spielern.

Das eine Aha-Erlebnis: Man kann auch Runden haben, die nicht ständig durch Terminfindung stocken. Es gibt so viele Spielabende, wie die SL's Zeit und Bock haben und es spielt halt mit, wer gerade kann und Lust hat. Da ich gerade abends recht oft Zeit habe, kann ich auf einmal in hoher Taktung spielen, was total toll ist!

Zweites Aha Erlebnis: Auch ohne das spaßig Absurde mit Mörk Borg macht mir #OSR Dungeon Crawling durchaus Spaß! Das Rollenspiel darf deshalb nicht komplett den Bach runter gehen, dann fände ich es wohl bald wieder öde, aber das eine muss das andere ja nicht ausschließen und das sehe ich in dem aktuellen Pool auch genauso umgesetzt. Ist offenbar ein toller Haufen da! 🙂

In der Runde habe ich #Deathbringer als Einstieg und dann #Shadowdark als das komplettere System kennen gelernt. Beide cool! Knackig überschaubare Regeln, die leicht zu lernen sind, Mörk Borg auch.

Ach ja: Ich hatte letztes Jahr noch gedacht, dass ich gar keinen Bock mehr auf Spieler Dasein hätte und mir SL inzwischen viel mehr Spaß macht. Ich durfte lernen: Das ist Quatsch, wenn man mit den richtigen Leuten spielt. Ich hatte dieses Jahr aber mal so richtig viel Spaß wieder als Spieler! 😄

Dieses Jahr war bei mir noch so viel mehr an Neuem, aber das waren so meine Highlights. Aus #pnpde Sicht war das vergangene Jahr ein echt tolles für mich!

Was reading the #BladeRunnerRPG this morning - backed it but then was turned off the idea that you had to play a cop.

You do (like an anti #CY_BORG) but it isn't a game about investigations and retiring replicants as much as moral dilemmas, exploring what it means to be human, similar angst. The cop thing is a framework for that. You have two "xp" tracks, Promotion and Humanity, which can frequently contradict. It's really for an RP audience, but you do also get a cool gun.

Am Wochenende geht’s mit dem Leiten der Starter Box von #DerEineRing weiter. Ich freue mich sehr drauf.

Zwischenzeitlich habe ich das Regelwerk von #Cy_Borg und #Vaesen gelesen und werde mich jetzt mal mit #MörkBorg befassen.

Ostern wird es mit Ausnahme vom Ostersonntag volles Programm geben. Freitag spiele ich in unserer #Cthulhu Runde weiter, Samstag leite ich dann #CurseOfStrahd und Montag bekommen wir Besuch von zwei lieben Spielern und schauen mal was sich ergibt.

Bei #cy_borg bin ich auch sehr optimistisch. Ich hab schon mehr Material gesammelt, als ich jemals geleitet bekommen kann.
#DCC - bisher habe ich zwischen #whfrp und #AlienRPG noch nicht die Motivation gefunden. Aber jetzt mach ich das bestimmt bald. Vielleicht sogar vor #DeltaGreenRPG oder #achtungcthulhu ;)

Ab März startet das #Rollenspieljahr2023 auch aktiv wieder so richtig! Mit #CY_BORG in der ersten und #Agon in der zweiten Woche sind ey gleich zwei bisher ungespielte Systeme. Noch dazu völlig unterschiedliche.
