After Camberos’ sentence was #commuted by #Trump in 2021, she was #convicted again in 2024 in an unrelated #fraud. When she was pardoned in the new case this week, it marked the second time Trump had opened the #prison gates for her.
The #pardons, most of which have not been previously reported, were supported by people with close ties to Trump’s orbit, including lawyers who had previously worked for him.
#Trump issued more #pardons this week, again rewarding his allies & those who had funneled money to his associates or donated to his political operation. Among the recipients was a woman who was convicted of #fraud in 2024, after he #commuted her sentence in an unrelated fraud in 2021. [so a 2X fraudster — at least caught that many times]
