It's merely accepting that history isn't complete, and sometimes new things are found about historical figures, and that sometimes your beloved historical "free speech" is pretty abhorrent when you frame it in modern terms.
It's not rewriting history; it's looking at it with the benefit of a few centuries of learning and medical advances in treating bladder stones. All of which I accept that Andrew Doyle is desperate to roll back and erase as quickly as possible.

Hmmm, for some weeks now I had problems with #network - on every #distro, every #DE. With my inbuilt 2.5 Gig #Realtek NIC the connection would just drop. On 2.5 Gig #Intel I226-V the ping response times would spike to 100-200 ms, which made it unusable (and in #Plasma caused the DE to become unresponsive).
Switched to old 1 Gig Intel 82571, and it would set itself to 100 Mbps. I changed cable from Cat 5e UTP to Cat 6 FTP and it jumped to 1 Gig.
Was the #shitty #cable the #problem all along...? -

I just had to give my #Windows 11 machine a page file. It has 64GB of DDR5 RAM and for some reason, it's all being grabbed by #Firefox plugins, Explorer, and tools like #Snagit in 1GB chunks.
It seems like #programmers these days are thinking "I'll just grab 1GB and commit it, doesn't matter if I don't use it...".
Programmers these days are mostly arseholes who did a 4-day online course though, so I am team #AI on this one.

I had not done any hacking. So I contacted them. They said that they could clearly see in their logs that I had been hacking them, but they could not tell me what it is they actually saw, because that would allow me to hack them some more. They thought they were playing some sort of four-dimensional chess with a mastermind.
I was angry... but then I relaxed, and I talked to my cable modem. I said:
"Yo! Could you renegotiate a new address on the Internet?"
It replied:
"No trouble, boss!"
It renegotiated, got a new address, and then... I was able to access the site again.

So:
1. These idiots used a technique that could easily be circumvented.
2. Why the hell did they not suspend *my login?????* I could use the site just as well as before.
