As @ThomHartmann likes to point out:It's "Hoarder's Syndrome". If these people were poor, they'd be living in a house with old newspapers stacked to the ceiling. But instead, they hoard money. It's all part of their insecurity. With money comes power and a sense of security.
And for #MafiaDon... he's right. It's kept his ass out of prison for the last twenty years. And as his crimes get bigger, so does his need for more money.

R.I.P., Spirit Airlines. I was never a fan of the flying cattle car model, but they are at a minimum to be commended for making SOME level of air travel accessible to our neighbors for whom it would otherwise have been prohibitive...and for refusing to cave to "an offer they couldn't refuse" from our #MafiaDon.
