Regardless of what we each believe to be CAUSING it, we should be able to agree that climate change IS HAPPENING--and that several of its catastropic effects ARE ALREADY OBSERVABLE AND BEING FELT (e.g., sea level rise, desertification, increased severe storm frequency).
Failure to AT A MINIMUM be aggressively planning and investing TO MITIGATE THESE EFFECTS before their full force is upon us is negligence--but our politicians are too busy trying to keep our democracy and civil liberties from disappearing (those who aren't in thrall to the #BillionairesInsurgency THAT'S TRYING TO MAKE THEM DISAPPEAR) to be paying them a lot more attention.
Can we PLEASE #DefeatEveryRepublican in two weeks so we can, you know, maybe save humanity and the planet God entrusted to us as His viceregents...?
