Ce soir, partie du jdr solo #colostle avec l'ami @kevetoile Notre personnage, Solomon l'Explorateur. Nous avons un beffrelet; Harpeau, hérité de notre famille avec ce glyphe ꟿ mystérieux, qui est aussi sur la carte héritée de nos aïeul. Il est équipé d'un grappin rétractable dans son bras, d'un contrepoids, et d'un marchepied pour nous aider à monter dessus.

This morning in my #Colostle #SoloRpg session, I scooped an icy magic attack out of the sky with my kayak's paddle and threw it back at the rook, stunning it and narrowly missing getting kablammered by a strong melee attack with its ice horn.

Climbing inside with the aid of one of the mysterious warrior clansmen who are also looking for my father, I befriended a tiny, spidery rookling, which likes to hang out on my shoulder.

Inside the rook, I found a strange mechanical safe that had been damaged in the fight, and pilfered a mystical codex from it as the rook collapsed around me. I jumped out of the frosty foe and landed in my kayak, paddling off to the fire the clansman had started on a nearby "island" (it's a submerged castle's spire, actually, encrusted with barnacles over years).

I re-read the rules and my little hero has been on nom nom'ed by the things that live in the rafters. I'm going to go with it, but, since there's a lot of space left in the journal, I'll start another hero and say that they found this diary and set out on their own adventure.

I’ve started another book; not the one I’d planned. I’ve started playing Colostle, and what I’m writing is more book than journal. It reads like a good couple of chapters. I won’t publish this one as a real book, since it’s derivative of the game. I may post it online, maybe.

Today was my first experience of the UK Games Expo. It was ace! So many wonderful things. We have another day, but I have already bought Heat, Hungry Monkey (a joyous card game) and Colostle (a solo rpg).
