أعلن محرر Zed، في إصداره 1.14، عن تفعيل وضع الحماية (sandboxing) افتراضياً لجميع المستخدمين، بهدف تقييد إجراءات الوكلاء ضمن أدوات الطرفية والاسترجاع. يمنع هذا الإجراء الوكلاء من الكتابة خارج مجلدات المشروع أو تعديل مجلد .git أو إجراء طلبات الشبكة، ما لم يمنح المستخدم الإذن الصريح. تعتمد هذه الآلية على واجهات برمجة تطبيقات نظام التشغيل وحلول خاصة بالمنصات مثل macOS و Linux و Windows (عبر WSL)، مما يعزز الأمان ويحد من الوصول غير المصرح به.

Welp, for some fucking reason #ZedEditor became completely unusable now.

Every time I type the it hogs the CPU like a mofo and the experience becomes laggy at best, frustrating at worst.

I already pushed the bug. I'll have to take off the dust from VSCode until it's resolved.
