The 4 Swedish Flower hen chicks hatched in May are 9 weeks old.

I thought the darker cockerel will probably look like the oldest rooster but looking back at his photos he was a lot whiter at the same age. I guess I'll get a darker version of that, and if the other white one is male then it might be closer to the old man. The last 3 photos are the older rooster from 2018 and today.

Church bells
Cocks crowing
Cows mooing
Dung on the roads

It’s ok to complain though when someone’s cow escapes because it’s frightened by church bells, runs round the village mooing (ideally with a washing-line full of clothes wrapped round its horns) and then craps in the road when startled by a cock. Most of this happened in my last village.
