So after a couple of weeks of

3 ownership. I am now at the stage of wanting more. This seems to be a great device for client/stakeholder engagement with 3D models. Going through workflows now from #ArcGIS #CityEngine to #Twinmotion and then on to the quest.... -

What I still find interesting about working with #CityEngine is just how many non-urban & #geographical related professions/academics are interested in using it... example: a relatively local university I am going to training at: is it their Architecture or urban schools? Nope. Environmental Sciences....

I've been messing around with GUIs and #jython in #CityEngine. Frankly struggling a bit (my method is cut and paste and test), however the playing around is paying off and I can make some really nice tools that don't require a command line or code knowledge to operate.

Fun fact #CityEngine allows for #python scripting to extend functionality... except it's actually #Jython (basically python in #java) which means that I am at least twice as confused at all times when programming!
