What an amazing sighting of this ice halo, circumhorizontal arc, at the French River Delta, Key River, Georgian Bay Ontario Canada. The bright spectrum colored band, parallel to the horizon, is a refraction of the sun on the ice crystals in the cirrus or cirrostratus clouds when the sun is at its highest, which in this case, was shortly after 12:00 noon.
