  1. It's an oldie because I don't often take wide-angle shots. Maybe I should keep working at them. 🤔

  2. This is Max. Max is a traveling venus fly trap; he vacations on a sailboat in Georgian Bay. He comes for the delicious clear waters and a bug or two.

  3. Natural crevice garden of the day. It amazes me that shrubs can grow as big as this juniper in a rock crevice. I always wonder how old they are. 🤔 South Benjamin Island North Channel Georgian Bay.

  4. Natural crevice garden of the day. Detail of the previous one so you can see miniature Joe Pye Weed and this pink flower I don't recognize. Anybody know it? South Benjamin Island North Channel Georgian Bay.

  5. Natural crevice garden of the day. (Looks wonky but check the background trees for level.) This one's a very long crack with mostly moss and grasses. South Benjamin Island North Channel Georgian Bay.

  6. Natural crevice garden of the day. Almost a rock garden but really a group of several crevice gardens. North Channel Georgian Bay

  7. Natural crevice garden of the day. Particularly nice because it consists of just moss and ferns. Very calming.

  8. Natural crevice garden of the day. A single native plant sprout, leaves sunbaked to light green and red, struggles out from between vertical grey slabs of granite on a rocky shoreline.

  9. Crevice garden of the day. This one is also in Oak Bay, North Channel Georgian Bay. You can see Joe Pye Weed and other native plants that have crept along the cracks from soil further in on the shore.

  10. Georgian Bay Islands: Rattlesnake Haven

Known for its windswept pines and granite shores, Georgian Bay Islands National Park is a crucial sanctuary for Ontario's only venomous snake: the threatened Massasauga Rattlesnake. The park's 63 islands provide the specific habitat this shy reptile needs to survive, making it one of the last strongholds for the species in the province. #Canada #GeorgianBay #Conservation #Wildlife 🇨🇦

  15. One of the things I mentioned in my recent blog post is how traveling by boat is so much better than traveling by RV because you have a waterfront view everywhere you go. I’m really feeling that now at my current anchorage, surrounded by water and forest, as I sit on my screened in aft deck and catch up on computer work. #boating #BoatLife #GreatLoop #GeorgianBay

  16. #Sunset greetings from the command bridge of MV Do It Now, parked at Big Sound Marina in Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada. Looks like a great end to a long day. #boating #BoatLife #GeorgianBay #GreatLoop

  17. Well, I managed to find a spot on a Canada Parks dock with some friends. I am the second smallest boat in this photo. 🤣 It's Ojibay Dock on Beausoleil Island on the east end of Georgian Bay. The island is full of hiking trails. I'll explore tomorrow. #drone #photo #Canada #boating #BoatLife #GreatLoop #GeorgianBay
