  1. Brothers of the Wind is narrated by Jean Reno. Narration is invariably flaccid, sloppy writing, but Reno’s voiceover is damn near cacophonous — and, in this case, contrived. How many Tyroleans do you think speak English to each other?

  2. PRETTY THING (2025) tries to be a feminist Fatal Attraction but forgets the attraction part. No sex, no suspense, no payoff—just a limp narrative wrapped in latex-thin provocation.

  3. Tyler Perry’s Acrimony thinks you’re too dumb to know what “acrimony” means — and somehow that’s not even its worst offense. A movie that insults its audience, its characters, and basic logic in equal measure. Flashbacks, voice-over, a deadly steering wheel, and a yacht called “Mrs. Gayle.” You can’t make this stuff up… but Perry did.

  4. Stars at Noon aims for steamy espionage and lands somewhere between geopolitical fanfic and unintentional satire. My take: if you’re gonna trash a country, at least learn something about it first.
