For all those predicting global economic doom and gloom as a result of US and Israel’s illegal war on Iran there is a silver lining to the approaching cloud.
The end of the #petrodollar.
The end of the petrodollar will mean #US inflation and economic chaos will no longer affect the world as it has in the past.
A #Multipolar global economy will mean fairer trade and prosperity for those who choose to honour their trade agreements and obligations to the world.
US will no longer have the power to impose trade sanctions on other nations to benefit its own economic and political interests.
The best thing about an end to US hegemony will be the economic consequences on #USA limiting its ability to start endless wars against countries unwilling to succumb to US bullying.

Time for a #Mastodon poll
If as #Trump claims the #USPol has achieved its objectives by assassinating Iran’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei and that the Strait of Hormuz is not important to the #US, stating it’s not the USA’s responsibility to force #Iran to reopen the Strait either by military or diplomatic means therefore no further military action will be taken by #USA.
In response to the illegal war started by #Israel and #US if the #EU #Europe #Asia and #BRICS member countries need the Strait of Hormuz to be reopened to access oil and other important commodities then it’s up to them to get the Strait of Hormuz reopened.

It seems absolutely tragic that the jester king running the #USA has gone from we must prevent #Iran *ever getting #nuclear weapons to we may have to use #nukes to stop them.
The most tragic part is not a single western leader is demanding #US and #Israel surrender their outrageous illegal war and threats to humanity.
*Iran had no nuclear weapons and no intention of ever having nuclear weapons.

The wonderful Jeffrey Sachs leaves nobody in doubt about the absolute hypocrisy and complicity of western governments who condemned #Iran for defending its country against the illegal attack by #USA and #Israel.
“Even George Orwell could not make this up.”
He also points out that any nation with #US bases on its soil are not sovereign countries.
