I'm a bit behind, but I just read the #CaptivePrince Trilogy. I highly recommend it.

For anyone thats a little curious:

Prince Damen is captured, stripped of his title and identity and sent to a neighboring enemy country, Vere, to serve their prince as a slave. Prince Laurent has a terrible reputation. Damen finds himself entangled in the political web of Vere where he must work with Laurent to survive while keeping his identity secret.

#CaptivePrince update: the entire Veretian court has gone to the countryside for a day of fabulously luxurious hunting, and having read #JWQS, I know that this can’t go well. 😬 Such a shame that Damen doesn’t have psychic horse-girl powers.

#CaptivePrince book one update, 35% in: I’m enjoying this so far, but it‘s still very distracting that the two kingdoms are so obviously expies of Renaissance France and Ancient Greece. 😅 I mean, on the one hand you have Auguste and Laurent, and on the other Damianos and Kastor.
