    The #moth #Eilema #caniola (#Arctiinae, #Erebidae), a #species that thrives in warm conditions, was originally distributed from Northwest Africa through Southern and Central #Europe to Western Asia; however, it is increasingly #expanding its #range #northward due to #globalwarming and has been appearing in #Berlin for about six or seven years. The #caterpillars feed on #saxicolous and #terricolous #lichens.
