Canuks preparing to double down on nuclear energy, looking to build up to 10 new reactors over the next 15 years, sell Canadian-made CANDU reactors to more countries and double uranium exports.

PM Carney announces Canada Strong Fund - a sovereign wealth fund.

The fund will focus on building infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, energy and mining with a mandate to deliver market-rate returns.

It will operate at arms-length from government as a new Crown Corporation, guided by a CEO and a qualified independent board of directors and it will provide mechanisms for Canadian citizens to directly participate.
