SpaceX burrows in deeper with new contract with the US Space Force (USSF).
USSF has confirmed its partnership with SpaceX to deploy a new dedicated military satellite communications architecture “MILNET".

I have a dream
That was Martin Luther King speaking in 1963. Today, there is a serious lack of a movement like the one that existed back then, even though it is so badly needed. None of the dreams of that time have come true in their entirety, but at least some of them have.
But under Trump and all his right-wing and far-right government leaders, any modest progress is being crushed with all possible force. Those who do not submit humbly lose their livelihoods and, in many cases, even their lives.
It seems to me that today we are once again lacking a dream! But all too often we also lack the courage and determination to turn that dream into a living reality.
But they do exist, these courageous people, young and old, women, men, LGBTQIA+, all over the world. And there need to be more of them; we need to step out of our comfort zones.

Everyone is, of course, white in all of the imagery for this campaign, and here we see the happy white family sitting in church -- demure, begloved housewife sitting in her place, watching her bonneted little girl adoringly before going back home to tend to the housework and get her husband's pipe and slippers ready, no doubt.
Apparently this actually is a real campaign - "Project Firewall." I knew that these backwards thinking nutcases wanted a return to the "traditional values" of the 50s -- rights for women and non-white men stamped out and medical technology pushed back 75 years by RFK Jr -- but I didn't know they LITERALLY wanted to go back to 1950s in all visible respects!
I guess I'm surprised to be surprised.
