Anybody remember #boxee? It was cute and had a keyboard on the back of the remote. It's part of my dream of a big screen future. something like that whose actual OS combined #peertube and #owncast and Plex and Steam capabilities.

Did you know #Boxee ? It was an #XBMC clone for Mac that I used to run on my old white plastic MacBook back in the day and I loved it, that was when the software was in #alpha and tons of new features were being added every week it seemed.

Why am I talking about it now? Well, when ever I open up my work email via #Outlook online, I get to see this tiny thing, a single outline icon, that SCREAMS at me every time I see it.. The one on the left there. 1/2

The #Boxee remote had a full querty keyboard on the back years ago. I don't get why all remotes don't have this, especially #Roku. Searching still sucks on televisions.

Anyone remember #Boxee? Or the #Ouya? The #BlackberryPearl? #Minidisc??
