So in case anyone missed it, Jay (the CEO of Bluesky) is pulling an Elon in real time and has for 48 hours now randomly banned people critizing her anti-queer and pro alt-right moderation team, and doubling down when people post the receipts of her lying and making up banning "reasons".
She is burning the ship she's steering to own the libs because she's as thin skinned as Elon.
Blsky went full X++ in 48 hours.

Not to put too much of a fine touch on it but as much as I love Blsky, creating a new high profile social network after 2016 and choosing to put the servers in America was stupid to begin with... If I was involved in that company I would start looking for other countries pronto.

Klar das wird vielen hier nicht gefallen, aber die können ja problemlos entsprechende Server blocken oder im Falle von #Blsky einfach nicht anmelden.

One reason without haven’t seen many #cmspapers here is because I have not really found any good post management/scheduling apps on #mastodon and #blsky. Does anyone have any #recommendations? Of course all (incl twitter, meta for linkedin) even more awesome. Can/will pay if it is ethical software

Two more questions with regard to #Bluesky. How it is different than #Twitter from a user standpoint?
Second, what's to prevent the board from deciding to sell the #blsky instance to the highest bidder in the future?
Legitimate question considering the concern about that very thing happening here with mastodon.social. Decentralization does not prevent ethical corruptability or greed. If you monetize something it will always be for sale. I liken Jack's idea of decentralization to franchising.
