Talk about a late bloomer! This little guy has been trying to grow all season (having survived being eaten down to the soil earlier this year by some critter, probably a shark). It struggled mightily to regrow, but I didn’t expect it to bloom! I don’t remember what I planted here, but my plant ID’er says it is Indian Blanket (which does not sound familiar to me?). Regardless, I love him and have named him Carl.
