In this round of #MinCup23, I have to take #bischofite over #Cacoxenite, because who doesn't like a #Halide?

I was sad to have missed the #Galena #Perovskite battle, because I love both of those minerals, but I love ultramafic rocks more, so I'm pleased by the outcome.

Okay as far as I can tell with some checking of Wikipedia and mindat, #cacoxenite is poor quality iron ore? And mostly just the crystal formations look hella cool. (Seriously, super neat!!)

#bischofite otoh is a SALT and used in all sorts of things for all sorts of reasons! I bet if you can refine out the stuff that isn't safe for human consumption... nice rehydration salt. Then it gets to fuel *human chaos*. I'm down. #MinCup23

@MineralCup I feel personally assaulted that #tourmaline, #beryl, #barite, and even #spodumene and #selenite the largest crystals in the world, aren't in this bracket. These are badass minerals.
I don't think #mercury is even a #mineral. It's just an #element.
And no #hematite or #magnetite? People are just showing off. #bischofite? Girl, please. #shitpostingwithlove
