Il caso principale citato nell'articolo è quello di Adam Oweineh, 24 anni, sordo, proveniente da #Battir.
Due mesi prima dell’arresto aveva ricevuto un impianto cocleare che richiede batterie speciali e un lungo percorso di riabilitazione.Al momento della detenzione - in custodia amministrativa, senza accuse né processo - le batterie gli sono state confiscate e non gli è stato garantito alcun follow‑up medico.
La famiglia racconta che, non potendo sentire, Oweineh è stato picchiato dalle guardie perchè non rispondeva agli ordini.Un altro detenuto ha riferito all’avvocato Hassan Abadi che le guardie, informate delle condizioni di Oweineh dagli altri detenuti, avrebbero reagito con punizioni collettive: gas lacrimogeni, cani, e tre giorni senza cibo, lenzuola o materassi per tutta la cella. ⬇️3
