Running #BashCoreT (Debian Trixie, CLI, kernel 6.12) on a 2009 netbook, managed via SSH from a modern laptop with #BashCoreTX (Trixie, XFCE).
Both nodes on #NordVPN.
Current footprint on T: 777 MB / 2 GB RAM.
Benchmarking stability under sustained tasks, curious how this vintage hw performs with a modern stack.

🥹 Huge thanks to oswatch for writing about BashCoreT and TX 2508! ❤️
Seeing BashCore among the Linux distros out there feels incredible!
Both CLI and XFCE editions stay true to our dream: minimalism, speed & reliability, now on Debian Trixie with kernel 6.12.

Arch is down (again). AskUbuntu is hotter than OnlyFans. Kali’s fresh ISO comes with 500 updates pre-installed. BlackArch is a museum of broken clones. BackBox vanished like a ghost.
Meanwhile, the few who actually know what they’re doing quietly grab BashCoreTX.
No drama, just domination. 😆👊💪

Just built BashCoreTX on Debian Trixie with kernel 6.12 and XFCE GUI!
🚀 Testing phase starts now 🤞
In this VirtualBox screenshot, you can see Firefox launched through proxychains4 opening the Tor test page, working perfectly!
RAM usage barely hits 1 GB with browser running, and CPU load stays around 1%.
A success already in the making 👊

Assigned 8 cores and 8GB RAM to BashCoreTX on my MSI Katana (i7 / 32GB).
TX runs like a razor, even inside VirtualBox.
Fast, clean, stable, silent.

BashCoreTX is now live on SourceForge.
XFCE + Debian Trixie + PREEMPT_RT.
No bloat. No marketing. Just control. We’re in the mosh now 👊
Let’s see who’s still standing after the wall of kernel.https://sourceforge.net/projects/bashcore/files/releases/

BashCoreTX is a Formula 1 without paint or sponsors.
Every gram saved on aesthetics is power redirected to engine and electronics.
XFCE + Trixie + PREEMPT_RT, stripped down to the core.
Fast, built for action... not to show 🤘

BashCoreTX is up and running 🤘
XFCE + Trixie + Kernel 6.12 (PREEMPT_RT).
X = Bookworm+XFCE+6.1
T = Trixie+CLI+6.12Now testing begins, let’s see what breaks (because something will 😆).

BashCoreTX is coming 🤘
A fusion of X (XFCE + Bookworm + 6.1) and T (CLI + Trixie + 6.12).
The result: XFCE + Trixie + Kernel 6.12 (PREEMPT_RT).
Trixie isn’t stable yet, but Kali already uses 6.12 so... we’re pushing forward, faster, lighter, meaner.Let’s bring order 😎
