Wow, I wrote in to the #Debian backports mailing list asking about a backport of a more recent version of #darktable to #Trixie, and now a week later it has arrived 😁
Any #photographer running #DebianStable and using @darktable you can now upgrade to 5.4.1! I was using the #appimage since my database was from a newer version than the one in stable, but now I can be back on Debian native packages 👌

@itsfoss
I recommend OMV. It's really solid and runs on #DebianTrixie too (the *only* Linux I ever install). -
The Debian Project released Debian 13.4 trixie. Upgrade your trixie installation to Debian 13.4 to get critical security patches and software updates.

And honestly I have mixed feelings about it:
1. I flashed a #DebianBookworm #Linux from their website and it worked fine except for the way GUI looks and it downloads all of the packages from #Huawei cloud instead of original #Debian servers. Sketchy.
2. However having changed bookworm to trixie in /etc/apt/sources.list I managed to install #DebianTrixie just fine without any issues unlike the way it was with #RaspberryPi for some.
It's a cool tiny board but I'am not sure I can trust it.
-
So with the help of #chatgpt I managed to fix the issue with #Airprint and #DebianTrixie. The problem is not #Avahi - it's #CUPS frontend.
When you set up a printer over http://localhost:631 and check "Share this printer" - it won't actually reflect in /etc/cups/printers.conf
So check that file and make sure you see "Shared Yes" there.
If it still won't work - here are more steps I took to fix it:

Well #samba, #pihole and #homebridge survived and work on this new #debiantrixie release of #raspberrypi os. But no matter how hard I tried I was unable to get #airprint or #qbittorrentnox to work as they did on #DebianBookworm 😔
