  1. Slight issue - 2 hours left to print this shelf unit - its 9pm and printer is in my bedrooom so won't be getting to sleep before 11pm!
    🙂

  2. Okay, about to reboot into a new kernel and I've already removed the old kernel, and I switched grub versions, but I still have a my old (BIOS) boot, because I couldn't set up my new EFI ESP, because mount couldn't load the new vfat module on the old kernel.

(My current /boot doesn't fit two initramfs images right now.)

Wish me luck. You'll understand if all my posts come from Tusky for a few days. ;)

  3. Pro tip: easily increase the difficulty of your daily plank by forgetting to do it until after your large meal.

  4. This self-portrait was brought to you by LUBRIDERM. Now in the glaringly white bottle!

It's dermatologist developed. Not like Burt's Bees, which was developed by a fella living in a van by the river. Or something like that.

  5. I'd bet that went through planning as a garage enlargement. The hole is exactly the size of the door already in the garage it's built around.

It's on the property boundary so without room for a ramp that 9 inch cill says no car will ever see the inside!

    So what? A granny flat?

  6. I’m not impressed with CBC putting an article on their front page titled “I love my electric car but I didn't realize my life would revolve around charging it”.

Turns out this person doesn’t have a way to charge at home, which is where most people charge 95% of the time. 🙄

Why is bad planning from this person on the front page? Why is it news at all?

  7. I tried to imagine a fast and efficient way to bring inhabitants of a car-free and mostly residential suburban area to public transport lanes (I'm curious about the balance between smaller housing units and transport efficiency – and if the two are even compatible at all).

Apparently I smashed the urban planning styles of East Germany and postwar U.S. together with a touch of sci-fi! #badPlanning #planning #3D #notAGeniusAfterAll
