Well, we finally found snow in the Eifel mountains near #Bonn today and managed a shortish round on #backcountry #skis. If you zoom this pic, you'll see my tired and troubled face as I once again realise that #nordic free-heel bindings represent an evil kind of pseudo freedom. I'm thinking of using proper #alpine touring bindings in future, even on moderate, rolling terrain. Too old to #telemark, too young to die!
