The biggest issue I had with Baccano! is that it has way too many "main" characters. Most of these characters aren't actually that important. And, some of them don't add anything of value to the plot.

@askDNA I've used English subs for almost all of the anime that I've watched.
On the other hand; I've watched dubs early on in my anime career back when I only knew how to watch anime as "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Episode 1 (HD) part 1" on YouTube (which is genuinely REALLY good), I've watched dubs in rewatches for some shows (Hyouka; which is a nice dub), and there are some where dubs ABSOLUTELY are a great way to watch a show - Princess Principal and Baccano for the immersion, Cowboy Bebop for just how well-done the dub is, or Golden Boy and Ghost Stories for the comedy.
Hell, one might even be nostalgic for old dubs of shows from their childhood, and that's 100% legit too!

Halfway through #Baccano and I don't think I understand anything in the #anime. A highly nonlinear narrative full of flashforwards, flashbacks, and subplots in reverse chronology. I have to watch it twice or even check the original manga to fully understand it - but I think I'm not going to do that... I just don't have the brainpower, unlike some people I follow, who seem to know as much about the x86_64 microarchitectures as they know about the technical details of various anime/manga universes...
