14. How did you get into your current fandom?

Friend in middle school recommends me Fairy Tail, I binge the shit out of it (or well, a hundred episodes of it before I get bored); then I start looking for other anime, starting with stuff that I remember seeing but never had the chance to actually watch myself.

My first few anime after Fairy Tail includes Toradora (I technically watched it with my brother a few years before around 2007-2010, but I didn't watch all of it), Angel Beats, CLANNAD, and then Haruhi. Angel Beats and CLANNAD come from middle school friends, while I got into Haruhi after remembering the Kumikyoku and being interested in a cute girl in a bunny girl outfit while watching the video.

(For younger viewers - it's basically a mashup of different songs from different anime, games, etc. that people from Nico Nico Douga, Japan's version of YouTube/Newgrounds/Twitch at the time, were into around the time of 2007)

After that, I started diving more and more into different anime; and then when I learned of the studio that created Haruhi and CLANNAD, #KyotoAnimation, I started watching a few of their other works - notably Kyoukai no Kanata and Hyouka.
