I like how @[email protected] 's #AudioTube helped me save laptop battery listening to music, instead of using the official web client

I don't know if the guys @kde and @[email protected] have not realised that #AudioTube, has no loop function, no cache for offline, and no easy way to toggle on/off dark mode.

But.... I can see some work has been done though, as the player now works compared to the last time I installed it last year. Good work there.

#AudioTube fills one more common usecase for me on #flx1. Earlier on #Android we used #NewPipe to play songs via youtube playlists via bluetooth when driving. I wanted to replace Android with FLX1 but could not until now because #FreeTube audio via bluetooth was distorted and NewPipe vian andromeda don't have mpris passthrough so we could not skip songs we don't like without opening the phone screen. AudioTube fixes both issues. This feels good. #mobile-linux

Sobre el reproductor de música, nada, que quería tener una interfaz para escuchar música on line de ese sitio diabólico sin tener que reproducir vídeos desde su web o con #Freetube. Después de probar varias opciones, me he quedado con #AudioTube (https://apps.kde.org/es/audiotube/); un reproductor sencillo a más no poder, desde el que estoy escuchando esta maravilla que nos recomendó @teclista hace unos días.

I recently switched from #Spotify to #YoutubeMusic, but I must admit I'm a little disappointed in the app selection for #Linux. I found two: #AudioTube and #Monophony, but none of them seem to support logging in with my #YouTube account. For the time being, I'm just running it in the browser. Any tips?

You know there's #kasts, #audiotube, #itinerary, #plasmatube which all seem very nice and dandy.

But as long as I cannot sync them between my devices, preferably with #nextcloud and use the same data in other apps (because my phone does not have any of the above), they can be the best apps ever written... I won't use them exactly because they cannot sync.
