Gameloft, ein führendes Unternehmen in der Entwicklung und Veröffentlichung von Multiplattform-Spielen, gab heute bekannt, dass das Unternehmen zur Feier des 20. Jubiläums seiner Rennspielserie Asphalt alle Register ziehen wird. Auf mehreren Plattformen wird mit einer Vielzahl von Aktivitäten und Inhalten im Spiel die Rennaction nicht nur auf ein neues Niveau gehoben, sondern es werden auch den Wurzeln der Serie Respekt gezollt.
Ab heute und bis zum 21. August können die Spielerinnen und Spieler mit einer brandneuen Rennstrecke das Vermächtnis von Asphalt feiern. Die Strecke führt die Rennfahrer durch drei verschiedene Epochen der Asphalt-Serie. In einem einzigen Rennen rasen die Spieler durch San Diego (inspiriert von Asphalt 8: Airborne), Kairo (inspiriert von Asphalt 9: Legends) und Los Angeles (inspiriert von Asphalt 7: Heat), wobei jeder Abschnitt über Grafiken verfügt, die an die klassischen Asphalt-Titel erinnern. So entsteht ein aufregendes neues Rennerlebnis, das spielerisch auf die vielfältige Vergangenheit des Spiels Bezug nimmt.
Um das Vermächtnis von Asphalt zu feiern, können die Spielerinnen und Spieler außerdem fünf Fahrzeuge aus dem Spotlight-Spezialevent mit exklusiven Aufklebern verzieren. Diese spiegeln die unverwechselbare Optik vergangener Titel wider. Dazu gehören kultige Modelle wie der Mitsubishi Lancer EVO, der Pagani Huayra R und der Bugatti Centodieci. Um das nostalgische Erlebnis zu vertiefen, wurden zwei Remixe aus Asphalt 8: Airborne sowie drei Titel, die ursprünglich nur exklusiv in der Version von Asphalt 9: Legends für die Nintendo Switch™ enthalten waren, hinzugefügt. Darüber hinaus wird eine spezielle Jubiläums-Compilation mit 14 vollständig remasterten Titeln auf Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music und anderen Streaming-Plattformen veröffentlicht, um die zeitlose Klangwelt der Serie zu präsentieren.
Als Hommage an das Spiel, das den Grundstein für die gesamte Serie legte, bringt Gameloft auch Asphalt Urban GT zurück – den ursprünglichen Java-Titel für mobile Geräte, der den Beginn von Asphalt markierte. Das Retro-Erlebnis ist in einer emulierten Version auf www.asphaltlegends.com verfügbar und lädt neue Spielerinnen und Spieler dazu ein, die Wurzeln der Serie zu entdecken. Langjährige Fans können ikonische Strecken wie Paris, New York City, Miami und Hongkong erneut fahren. Diejenigen, die alle Etappen abschließen, schalten exklusive Belohnungen frei, darunter Credits, Marken, besondere Wagen und viele weitere Überraschungen. Asphalt Legends verbindet zur Feier von 20 Jahren Rennsport die Vergangenheit mit der Gegenwart.

Unironically, the #Asphalt9Legends game engine is quite impressive. Works great on a range of platforms (including mobile!), doesn't drain your battery, and always looks amazing. Looking forward to seeing how they take it up a notch with the latest version.

@thegamerstavern I recently reached a wind-down point with #MoonstoneIsland , so I'm searching for my second game (aside from #Asphalt9Legends). Maybe some #SpaceCrew ? I also picked up #SteamworldHeist and that's been a pretty great turn-based tactics game...
Of course, some practice in #WRC
And getting the #ROGAlly set up to play some #Minecraft or other game with Gamer Kid.
Should be a fun weekend!

I'm 145+ hours into #Asphalt9Legends and I *now* have enough fancy cars to qualify for some high-end challenges.
The latest required ownership of six specific cars, with the prize being outright ownership of another limited-edition car (a very nice prize!).
I easily completed everything in the challenge EXCEPT winning a race on my worst track - consistently coming in 2nd or 3rd, a few seconds behind.
Then, today, with 2 days left on the challenge, on my last tank of gas, I FINALLY GOT IT 🥳🥳🥳

I've hit a wild milestone in #asphalt9legends
Background: Most of the game consists of running races (daily, monthly, etc), achieving certain goals, and unlocking cards to upgrade your cars.
After 115 hours, I'm now at Level 12, which allows me to auto-claim cards from a set of daily races. No racing, just rewards.
So, after *months* of grinding, the game now just automatically gives me a dozen cards a day and $100k's of game money every day.
I feel like I've moved up a few tax brackets.
