Let me tell you the story of how I said "I'm not ready for another 60-hours-game" after Baldur's Gate 3 and then put 60 hours into #APICO and now 100 hours into #CoreKeeper
What a game! I'm nearing the end but it is one of the few games that I'm itching to restart right after finishing it...
The cool thing is you can start with the same character on a new map or inherit your old map with a new character. -
Over the last few days I've BEEn putting in an unBEElievable amount of hours into #APICO
It's an indie fun little cozy managing sim centered around bees. I planned to play it for a few hours but the crossbreeding mechanics really got me hooked. Describing APICO as little is also an understatement. It takes about 50+ hours to do everything the game has to offer.

The Tricky Trials Minecraft update has begun its rollout! I got the update just before going to the grocery store. I'm debating if starting my strange build over again on Xbox or playing Apico is a better choice. The best kind of debate to have with oneself is a low stakes debate!
I want to discover all the bees, but base building is also on my mind!

I played Apico for a while today and once you get into the gameplay loop; hours seem to melt away as you become buzzy with those bees! I've unlocked the key to making loads of rubees, Apicola the favorite drink in Apico.
Apiculture is entertaining, I can't wait to earn enough rubees to finally buy a very expensive boat! Since, I finally unlocked the backpack, I could go on a long bee hunting expedition.

Hype, the new and final Apico update is out! 4.0 brings so much stuff to the game and it makes me excited to play. After beating Cyberpunk 2077, that is when I will hop into Apico for a bit! Even though the delayed Sunnyside is going to come out...My gaming plate is one again full.

Busy #bee this evening. Getting honeycomb from the hives and making new frames for the apiaries. Emptying the frames. Restocking the hives with more bees.
It's hard going this #beekeeping lark.
Not even started on butterflies!

No bee-reeding this turn. Rearranging the layout to keep the bee species' apart with each having an apiary, couple of hives and some storage space.

Finally! Uncommon, Verdant, and Rocky bees are now all thriving in the wild.
Phew!
Next task is to automate some of my tools and cross-breed the Uncommon with Forest and Rocky bees.

Hooray! Uncommon bees are now pretty common. But still a different species from Common bees.

I've got a little stash of Verdant, Uncommon and Rocky bees that I'm breeding up for release. All 3 are 'lost' just now. They need to be rehabeelitated first. 🙂
