Apache NiFi 2.10.0, released June 20 and reported by David Handermann, fixes four issues. The high-severity CVE-2026-44914 lets a user with general write access add components that require specific Restricted-annotation permissions, bypassing the intended authorization check, across NiFi 1.12.0 through 2.9.0. Does your team separate flow-authoring rights from Restricted-component rights?
