Inevitably, there will also come a point where I realize I have to scrap half of the plot for...reasons...which can derail any momentum I had.
Then I remember: First draft, worst draft. And I plow ahead, brute force.
Just get it down and trust the process.

Our little guy, 1.5 years old, with his first flu of the season was wide awake at 4a.m. in serious need of a few things. All taken care of now, and passed back out in his crib… but of course mom over here is now wide awake.
