BRIEF (ha ha) thoughts on #publishing #tradpub #selfpub #indiepub:
I gave up on traditional publishing a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away (read: in my early 30s 😆). Tradpub's gatekeeping used to be merely frustrating and demoralizing -- these days, I find it outright offensive and bad for human beings. All part of the #capitalism machine. This section of gears happens to grind #creative people into bloody mush.

I've been #Writing and #querying with #tradpub in mind for years, but I recently got a #LitRPG idea rattling around in my brain I can't seem to get rid of.
I feel like this is a subgenre fairly exclusive to #selfpub but all my publishing research had been in trad pub up till now.
So I'm coming to you all to ask questions & start a discussion: Any advice for someone newly looking into self publishing? I don't intend to rush this, but would love any resources or advice anyone has to offer!

For those of you here pursuing #tradpub, how many times are you querying/subbing before you stop? Or are you dedicated to continuing as long as you have to?
