The broad beans are doing alright on one plot but much worse on the other.
Soon it will be black fly season. :-/

After a most hectic month I finally got time to go to the plot. The wasps have died off (hurray!) so I could tidy the compost heap they'd been calling home. Also managed to harvest the Christmas potatoes and parsnips.
I'll tell you what, there's nothing better than sticking a fork in the ground and pulling up your own potatoes. Magic. #allotmentlife #allotmentuk
