It is the island of the Golden fleece and 7 stages to retrieve it, in the pictures are the island, the harpies and the Cyclops, be gentle remember the figures are 7mm tall (harpies) and about 12mm for the Cyclops's.

But ignore the muses, and they tend to wander off for an unspecified amount of time.

Also! Found some time yesterday to make some stuff look rusty. Blood Bowl markers and a shack for a diorama project that's been in flight too long. Next time I'll get some red in the rust before the wash.
Think my new year goal is to finish the two dioramas that have been languishing on my desk, mainly so I can decide if that's a form I really want to pursue more.

Battle of Lewes farm 1865 using regimental Fire & Fury rules. I was Union forces and knew nothing about this battle so I went on the offensive. Managing to roll a 1 ves my opponents 10 in a melee was greeted with the hilarity it deserved! Rapidly increasing Rebels made attacking a bad choice, but I was racing the Rebels to an objective for an unlikely win... it was not to be and the game ended in a draw.
As usual, these are excellent rules and a great time was had by all. #ACW #wargaming #6mm

I bought two #6mm 7 Years War armies from Irregular miniatures. One Russian and one British/Hanoverian to complement a friend who already has Austrian (could be French at a push) and Prussian. They're pretty rough sculpts, going to need a lot of flash and other moulding artefacts removed before I can prime them. #MiniatureGames #wargaming

Time to go back to 1742 and the Battle of Chotusitz. Prussians versus Austrians using the Twilight of the Sun King rules. Unusual rules that have no firing or melee. You just make morale rolls. It's quite a good set of rules, although the shock of rolling 3 on 2D6 and watching a unit being removed is quite bad. Worse when it happened twice to me and then my entire wing ran away.
