Legion Imperialis

I bought two boxes of Basilisks/Medusas, thinking I’d make 8 of each. But looking at the rules I’m not sure what role the Medusa plays with a 12” gun.

Especially since the artillery formation requires three squadrons of 4, it seems like I should make 12 basilisks, if not all 16.

Anyone able to sell me on Medusa?

Ridiculously excited for the new version of #epic40k . I have the patience now (and the contrast paints!) That I lacked in the 90s. And oodles if teeny tiny men to fight around my #Titanicus Godmachines!

Seen the Legions Imperialis announcement, I always wanted to try a 6 mm system. Any recommendations? Either boxed or 3d printable works for me. Preferable Sci-Fi settings.

I finally got the 3D printer up and running at work and printed a rhino for my #epic40k sisters. It needs to be resized a bit, but I'll paint it anyway as a test.
Hopefully I can get some exorcists and Immolators out of this machine.

I'm aiming for a unit of six bases for now, to have a go at my warmaster dwarfs and epic scale sisters of battle, so one army for two scales and systems.

Another couple of evenings work and I finished my Mega-Squiggoth from Troublemaker Games. Such a fun model and so easy to paint up because of all the details. I was a fool and should have added my Ork crew after painting, but otherwise it’s been great.

Between all kinds of Christmas prep and activity, alongside the hobby lull caused by waiting on my Baccus Gauls (they are now posted 🤩), I’ve not done much the past couple of weeks.

This morning however I spent an hour finishing off this Devastator detachment for my Celebrants 4th Co. This finished the whole company, I think I started them in February. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I’m otherwise approaching finished on the Squat Colossus. Smoke, an engine glow, and perhaps a crew member for scale.
