New #MechanicalKeyboard day! It's a #Kiser Monorail 45% #keyboard which I recently bought from @opendev on #40sDay in the Fediverse. I've put #HolyBoba switches in the #Kailh #hotswap sockets and put MiTo's GMK Laser keycap set plus some novelties on.

And yes, the #KiserMonorail is #V4N4G0N compatible, so it's my fifth keyboard with #TheVanKeyboards #Minivan-style layout.

It runs #QMK on an #RP2040 and uses easy peasy #Vial for configuration!

Talking about #40sday and #mechanicalkeyboard , I made a software long ago (windows only) which is emitting a sound on keydown and on keyup, because I have noise-cancelling headphones, but I like the sound of feedback when I type.

But! If you have a great recording setup and willing to send me samples of the sound of your keyboard, I'll include them with the greates pleasure!

I went to a keyboard meetup a couple of years ago and brought a bunch of the fam with me.

Then I went to a different meetup all the way in DC and brought a bunch of the fam with me PLUS lots of others did. Huge pile of keyboards on the table.

Some day I should bust out the whole collection and lay it out. I'd need a much larger table though haha

2) Technikable low profile wireless ortho, with choc whites switches and MBK legend keycaps in the Ultem color polycarbonate Technik case

3) Le Capybara #Topre split column stagger, with 45g KLC domes, no silencer rings, and MT3 Operator keycaps, in a 3dp Sporkus case.

All naturally running @zmk

It's made from aluminum and has a hefty brass plate in the bottom. Thing is a brick. Probably weighs 6 pounds. I love it.
