One military term for this is "a buggers muddle" which I suppose may be getting a bit old-fashioned. #shambles seems appropriate.

PSA: #vaccination derives from the original #Cowpox , a live virus as systematised by #Jenner fairly long ago and not very far away from here. It has probably extended to other live viruses. All vaccInations are immunisations, but not all immunisations are vaccinations. mRNA sort of edges into the gap.

Handy, really, given I might have forgotten since the last time I used one in [checks notes] a little over 12 hours ago.

Turns out that Rocket League has a hard numerical cap on how many players you can block. Which means I'm now stuck not being able to actually block any more toxic players because I've been diligent about blocking toxic players. Absolute shambles.
(Measuring the GUI for the blocked players pane suggests you can only block ~540 players: pane shows 12 players, scrollbar is ~70px, gutter is ~430px, moving by one set of 12 players is 8px. Which probably makes it 512 players for the power-of-2 convenience?)

We were just there for a couple of nights back in early June, when we stopped during our train trip from Edinburgh to London. We didn’t really have time to do York justice, and some wet weather didn’t help, but we enjoyed our brief stay and would go back again. We broke up our train ride from Edinburgh and London with a short visit to York during our United Kingdom trip earlier this year. It was quite a varied trip, starting with shoreline towns to the west in Scotland, then walking the Great Glen Way to Inverness, visiting a few other urban areas of Scotland, and finally concluding in London. “A Window In York” — Looking out of a window in the Shambles, York, England.
We made a short, two-night stop in York on our train trip from Edinburgh to London. York isn’t exactly an unvisited place, but it is on a smaller scale than the other two cities and was a pleasant respite from the big city vibe of those locations. We had lovely lodgings on a side street, and it was only a short walk across a bridge into the older part of town.
