  1. It is never too early to ask yourself:

Did I leave #FuzzySkin on that functional mechanical sliding #3dprint ?

  2. Kann jemand einen Shop empfehlen für PLA und PETG Filament?

Möglichst günstig wäre auch nicht schlecht.

Das PLA wird hauptsächlich für unsere FCK AFD Chips benötigt :)

  3. @Xzan this is pretty helpful, and it's now a guide I can point people too when they ask me 😉 thanks for the spot.

  4. #3DPrintingHelp every 3 #3DPrints wash the bed , clean the nozzle , maintain the belts & also keep in mind when filament is waved it’s wet so dry it at 70•C for 5 minutes for PLA

The best thing I did to my e3pro was flatten the bed. I borrowed a cricut sticky cutting mat (12x24 iirc) and stuck down two sheets of sandpaper. I took off the bed and the magnet sheet and slid it back and forth on the sandpaper, turning it 90 degrees occasionally. Keep doing that until the scratches are uniform. Add a new magnet sheet (or don't) and you're good to go.

  6. Is there anything as tedious as calibrating a 3D printer? I think maybe my bed isn't perfect. Using a 0.2mm feelers gauge this is the best I can get it once warmed up to 70degrees *sigh* #3DPrintingHelp #3dprinting

  7. Hey #3DPrintingHelp #3DPrinting peeps, I'm looking at a case where it looks like I need to create manual supports. I have a 2mm thick horizontal arm that has a 2 layer gap between it and the part below.

Pondering the best way to do this. (Using Cura and an old Ender 3)

  8. Just drew up this #ConceptArt for this sci-fi appliance; now this local writer/director is looking for advice & help in the SF Bay Area. The idea is to dress up an existing microwave oven to create this prop. Some pay + credit! More info: johnfilms.com/the-original-cop

So I found this 3D model to make a faceplate for an Xbox Series X/S controller that makes the joysticks have octagonal gates.
(I can't find the site i got the file from a while ago...)
Unfortunately, I don't have access to any 3D printer.
    Do I have any friends who would be willing to print and ship it to me? ^^;
I would be wiling to pay for work and shipping!
I have the .STL file to send, can't attach it to the post cx

  12. CW: 3D printing help requested

Hey mastodon #3dprinting friends. Help a pup out!

Today I did a replacement of my ender 3 pro heated bed with a new one, along with brand new borosilicate glass because my old one was gross with aqua net. When I removed the glass from the bed it was a bit destructive to the old bed. It tore off this black rubbery pad that my new creality heated bed did not have. Do I need this and is there any place I can get a new one because I don't know what this is called. I asked because my octo print is reporting in m112 emergency shutdown after I reinstalled everything and my guess that this pad is an insulator that is preventing thermal runaway but I don't know

    Any help would be appreciated

  13. Okay #3DPrinting gurus, help me out here. I bought a Crealty #EnderNeoMax to replace my Dremel3D45. The thing about the Dremel was it just worked; send the gcode to the printer, add filament, add adhesive to the bed, level it and go.
I thought I had done my due diligence on the Neo Max; leveled the bed at all four corners, used the leveling software. I have my Z axis at -2.5 (otherwise it was printing too high). I have the grooves in my PEI when I tried setting it lower.
Thingiverse prints seem to work better than the stuff I make. But not always. Can someone look at my gcode? Below is the seed starting trays I tried making.

  18. Ok #3DPrint gurus, has anyone ever printed on fast speed? My current ten hour print would be reduced to 3 hours, I’m curious what everyone’s experiences has been. How much does the quality go down? #3DPrinting #3DPrintingHelp

  19. Ok. Excuse dirty shop fingers. This is fan 100, bridge line density 100, flow ratio 100. The right cell is 👩‍🍳💋🤌 muah perfect but the middle ones pop right up

  21. Calling my resin 3D printer mutuals (and others - boosts welcome)...

I've received a 3D print of a TIE Bomber - but unfortunately one set of wings/panels have badly deformed.

Thinking about dunking in hot water & easing flat with a metal ruler.

    Is this likely to work?
