So, yesterday and today I finally tried out my "Make Noise 0-Coast" for the first time.

Today I connected this Krell-Patch (actually from the manual😅) and played around with it a bit.

(Sorry for the bad sound, its just recorded with my phone using the headphones as "speakers"😅)

A generative patch on the Make Noise 0-Coast evokes Hell's own horn section. Live pizzicato violin accompanies a reading of Yeats's "The Second Coming" captured on a shoebox cassette recorder. And, as if by design, it all falls apart.

Today I'm watching tutorial videos on the MakeNoise 0-Coast semi-modular synth. This is one that I don't really break out that often, so spending an afternoon learning how to program generative ambient patches feels JUST RIGHT.

And as with any time I'm playing with analog gear, I'm recording everything. Because you just never know when that magic thing will happen, and it will only happen once.

The #0Coast is going through FX Aid's Shallow Water emulation patch, then into Mimeophon. Internal FX only for everything else.

I haven't often released stuff before it's finished, unless it's just a throwaway, but I thought the Jan itself was pretty fun overall, and I know from experience they end up sounding A LOT different by the time they're done so decided to give it a try. Who knows, maybe it will build up hype for the #NewAlbum.
