This #dhakhsh word really resonates with me. The thought crossed my mind that I could also translate this as "combat veteran," but I do not feel like it captures the meaning. I plan to get this tattooed as homage to my wife—a cancer survivor.

Here is a comparison between day one (broad nib) vs now (brush tip). They both say the same thing: #Ngezhtulk—the writing system for #Dhakhsh. The one on the right was a pure abjad, and the left is an alphabet. I wanted to show how even an invented writing system can evolve.
