"My father has an affinity for golf.”
When #Doral was fully redeveloped, Ivanka said #DeutscheBank was pleased w/ the transformation, & changed some terms of the loan in Trump's favor.

Moved on to Trump's #Doral golf course in #Florida. Trump bought the property in 2012 out of bankruptcy for $150M, backed by a #loan from #DeutscheBank.
Asked about her role in the Doral sale, #Ivanka said: she received a phone call about the sale that was "very inconvenient timing" bc she was "in the hospital, or I was about to be in the hospital" w/her first child.

As we learned before #DeutscheBank was #Trump's largest creditor by far, & extended hundreds of million of dollars in credit to him 2011-2021.
#Ivanka said she only dealt w/ Trump's Deutsche Bank point person, Rosemary Vrablic, on projects like #Doral & the #OPO hotel in DC, & was only tangentially involved w/the #Chicago building.
Re the OPO. Real estate firm Colony Capital had planned on financing the deal in part, but backed out.

NYAG asked Ivanka several questions about Trumps statements of financial condition (SFCs), which the AG said were #falsified to inflate #Trump's #NetWorth.

#NYAG showed various emails from around that time, #Ivanka said she didn’t recall much about the details of the financing process.
In response to several questions by NYAG atty Solomon, Ivanka said that she remembered Solomon asking her the question at her #deposition, but doesn't recall the events at issue.
The #TrumpOrganization purchased #Doral in November 2011 for $150M, financed by a #loan from #DeutscheBank.

#Ivanka said she hasn't worked at the #TrumpOrganization since Jan. 2017, but she has still received payments from financial interests in different aspects of the company.

Justice #Engoron tells #Kise et al, that he'd consider their complaints about his #LawClerk to be a continuing objection (that’s when a judge has already overruled the original objection, & instead of attys constantly stopping the trial w/objections, it is preserved as if they did. It's really for appealing).
Engoron: "I don't have any other comments about my staff or how I communicate w/them.”

#Kise said he just found out about this issue from the news, & it raises additional questions of misconduct.
Kise suggested that the "defense will have to give serious consideration to seeking a mistrial” (& there’s the word #Trump wants out there).
Kise: "It is incumbent upon us as lawyers & I would say, respectfully, the court, to take this very seriously.”
At this point, Andrew Amer of the NYAG's office essentially tells the Trump team to put up or shut up.
