So Boston University had a former president who an alumnus described as "racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic and ableist". He was before my time, but I've witnessed the current administration taking steps to rectify his wrongs, making BU a center for antiracism, creating LGBTQ centers, and more.
His daughter has written a book (https://www.bu.edu/articles/2022/john-silber-seen-through-his-daughters-eyes/) trying to whitewash his legacy. #BU #BostonUniversity #Boston #BostonNews 1/2 >

Anyone else have issues with double clicking? I'm running macOS, but I think the issue is more general.
I've found that I sometimes generate double clicks by mistake (and there are times when the results are a problem). And other times, it takes me a couple of tries to get the double click to register.
On macOS, I've tried tweaking the accessibility settings to make the results I get be more reliable, but I wasn't happy with the results.

“Shibboleth”, by Zadie Smith in The New Yorker
In the campus protests over the war in Gaza, language and rhetoric are—as they have always been when it comes to Israel and Palestine—weapons of mass destruction.

I'm trying to figure out when Verizon FIOS will likely be coming to an address in North Adams, Massachusetts. According to the coverage map at https://broadbandnow.com/Verizon-Fios, it's available now. But Verizon customer service isn't able to say anything about the timeline - or even that it will be coming.
Does anyone have any pointers as to how to get more information?
