Google halutaan pilkkoa osiin - jälleen kerran

Tällä kertaa kyseessä on oikeudenkäynti, jossa Googlen todettiin rikkoneen Yhdysvaltain monopolilainsäädäntöä (jälleen) verkkomainonnan saralla.

Yhdysvaltain oikeusministeriö tarjoaa tälläkin kertaa ratkaisuksi Googlen pilkkomista osiin. Mutta tällä kertaa Googlesta pitäisi irrottaa yhtiön omistama verkkomainonnan välitykseen tarkoitettu kauppapaikka, AdX.

EU:lta lähes 3 miljardin euron sakot Googlelle

Euroopan komissio totesi tutkimuksissaan, että mainosjätti Google on rikkonut EU:n kilpailulainsäädäntöä mainosteknologian saralla. Yhtiö suosii lain vastaisesti omaa mainosten kauppapaikkaansa muissa tuotteissaan.
