Papirus Icon Theme Updated
Fans of the Papirus icon theme for Linux desktops will be happy hear a new version is now available to download. Paprius‘s first update in 2025 improves support for KDE Plasma 6 by adding Konversation, KTorrent and RedShift tray icons, KDE and Plasma logo glyphs for use in ‘start menu’ analogues, as well as an assortment of symbolic icons. Retro gaming fans will appreciate an expansion in mime type support in this update. Papirus now includes file icons for ROMs used for emulating ZX Spectrum, SEGA Dreamcast, SEGA Saturn, MSX, and Neo Geo Pocket consoles; and Papirus now uses different :sys_more_orange:

Papirus Icon Pack Update Adds 50+ New Icons
If you use the Papirus icon theme in Ubuntu you’ll be pleased to hear a new version is available to download. Papirus’s first update in 2024 adds more than 50 new and updated apps icons, and makes a handful of other changes to existing icons, including updating icon names and symlinks. This updates removing a handful of couple of icons for apps no longer widely used/EOL. Among new apps to gain coverage in Papirus is multi-protocol backup tool Celeste, nifty Logitech wireless utility Solaar, stat-packed system monitor app Mission Center, and Thunderbird beta builds. Icons for Iotas, Halftone, Upscayl, and :sys_more_orange:

Papirus Icon Pack Updated with New-Look LibreOffice Icons
A major update to the phenomenally popular Paprius icon set for Linux desktops is now available. Papirus’ September 2023 update adds a bunch of new and updated glyphs, including redesigned icons for LibreOffice that riff on the suite’s own recent icon revamp. Among the newly added apps supported in Paprius v20230901: Additional file/document types are catered for as of this update, with .hwp, .Julia, and .vue among them. If you regularly work with or download these files you’ll appreciate seeing bespoke representations for them in your file manager. New Icons, Symlink Fixes for Flathub Apps Added to Paprius Icon Set
I know that the Papirus icon pack is hugely popular so I figured I’d ferry word that a new version is available for download The June update is largely composed of symlinks to allow Flathub versions of apps already covered by the set match up to their corresponding icons. This includes icons for Adobe Reader, Godot 3, Jellyfin Server, Proton VPN, Puddletag, Waterfox, and ZSNES. A handful of Steam titles, including Dream Logical World and popular emulator RetroArch, get icons; and the icon for VSCodium, a well-regarded “de-Microsoft’d” version of Microsoft’s VSCode editor, has been redesigned to echo the upstream :sys_more_orange:

Could you consider focusing on an AI accelerator from a different producer than Hailo? Hailo are contributing to the genocide on palestinians, so your legitimising Hailo and supporting them economically puts an unfortunate stain on you and the #mechaComet as well.
