A few thoughts on the #WonderSwan remake of Final Fantasy Legend / SaGa.
I made it to the very end of the game but am unable to kill the end boss. Without being able to level up like in a traditional RPG, I am pretty much stuck.
I'm not really sure what else I can do.
This version of the game is definitely harder than I remember the original Game boy version being. I beat the Game boy version many times when I was younger and had no issues...

Upload a picture of your lost pet and every #Ring doorbell starts looking for a match.
If that's what we have access to just imagine what the authorities have access to, especially with the #Flock integration.

Finally made it to the fourth world in Final Fantasy Legend / SaGa.
I successfully avoided Suzaku. I made my way through the subway tunnels to the city and acquired the motorcycle.
Now to gather the parts to disable Suzaku's shield.

@nazokiyoubinbou @in_sympathy Fortunately, all #PocketPC programs can be installed with a .cab file that you drop onto the SD card and then install on the #PDA itself.
You don't have to use the programs .exe installer on a computer.
So, I am hoping that we can find a way to, at the very least, sync PIM data like notes, calendars, address book etc.
Evolution provides an Outlook style program for the PIM data and SynCE, in theory, should allow the PDA to be mounted and sync this data.

SynCE – Allows Linux to communicate with #WindowsMobile and #WindowsCE devices.
Multisync – Manages the synchronization of PIM data like calendars, address, etc. and lets you decide what to sync.
Evolution – Microsoft Outlook compatible program.
There are some other programs that I have seen mentioned but I believe they are for older methods.
This might actually be possible! 👍

Does anyone know how to get a #PocketPC #PDA to mount and sync with #Linux?
Any information that I find is like 15 - 20 years old. It clearly used to be possible.
Simply plugging it in and lsusb in the terminal gives some pleasantly unexpected results even though it's not mounted or accessible for file transfers.

I decided to play back through #FinalFantasy Legend, or SaGa, for the umpteenth time.
I was going to play the #Gameboy DX version but other than being a nice recoloring of the original version, it would not have much new to offer.
I decided it was time to give the #WonderSwan remake a shot.
So far this is a very impressive remake. Some nice QOL improvements & some gorgeous color graphics.
The game is still a bit jank but so far quite an impressive effort.

I am continuing with my fulltime migration from #Windows to #Bazzite #Linux.
The project for the last few days has been to get #PaintDotNet up & running. I really don't want to leave this program behind but it looks like currently this is not easily possible.
I tried both the Windows installer & the portable version with Wine, Bottles, Lutris & Heroic Launcher & had no success.
It looks like some people are trying to tackle this. Older versions are working though.

WOOHOO! I beat #PhantasyStar 3. It took me 23 hours & 40 minutes. I ended the game as Aron.I had a lot of fun with this one but after rolling the credits one word was stuck in my mind, ambitious.
With Yiju Naka & Reiko Kodama absent, it was a lot to ask from the new development team & they had big shoes to fill…

I made it to Sage's Island with the five legendary weapons and I'm getting ready to get them upgraded.
Then I'll need to swing back to Mystoke to purchase some of the best armor.
After that, take the fight to Dark Force! 😎

I had been eyeballing this book for the last couple of years. This year a family member decided to pick it up for me for Christmas!
Shout out to Gordon Little @Gord for making Paper Dungeon Mazes.
It looks like a ton of fun and I look forward to making my way through its pages.

Looks like after beating him I once again get to choose who to marry.
Hmmmm... Decisions, decisions.
Apparently Alair leads to what is considered by fans as the canon ending to the game. I guess I'll go with her.
Looks like this will be the last generation. I wasn't sure if I would get this polished off before the new year, but I'm making pretty good progress.

Gnuboy = Gameboy and Gameboy ColorThey all have a great assortment of features. Image scaling, save states, etc. The Nofrendo emulator still needs some work. It suffers from some screen flickering and perhaps some mapper issues. Everything else runs great.
It's a cool novelty but results in seriously cramped hands.
